“Experience a stay in the Australian rainforest — with a beach!”
My sister and I spend four nights at the Kewarra Beach Resort durnig our trip to Cairns, Australia in early April. If you’re looking for a trendy modern chain hotel in the middle of a city, then this isn’t the place for you. However, if you want to experience the Australian rainforest, with it’s beautiful flora and fawna, then the Kewarra Beach Resort is the place for you! It is absolutely gorgeous! Set among the trees of the rainforest, with beautiful pools to relax and swim in, and a beautiful beach to walk along (and swim in), it’s a wonderful place to getaway from it all and just relax and enjoy the serenity of the beautiful outdoors. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

“Perfect stay for our honeymoon!”
My husband and I stayed here while we were in Cairns for our honeymoon. It was beyond perfect! We had a beach-front bungalow that was very cozy. At nights we would just close the screen doors and listen to the ocean while we slept. They have two pools, one of which has a waterfall and cave to swim through. Probably one of the neatest pools we’ve swam in. The front desk was also very helpful with any questions for the area. It is at the end of a residential neighborhood so slightly difficult to find, however, secluded. We didn’t want to leave. I would highly recommend this place!

“The most friendly staff we could have hoped for!”
My husband and I stayed at Kewarra Beach resort for 9 days, and could not have enjoyed it more! The surroundings are stunning and the personal touches added by the staff made Kewarra Beach resort easily the best choice for our belated Honeymoon. Nothing was too much trouble and within 24 hours we felt part of the family. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff had plenty of suggestions on day trips, restaurants and ‘little known’ secrets like secluded Waterfalls. Huge thank you to all the staff who literally made our Honeymoon!!

“Absolutely beautiful!”
My partner and I stayed at Kewarra Beach in March 2010. From the moment we checked in the service was fantastic. The cabins are beautifully hidden away and secluded amongst the rainforest and were clean and cool.
My favourite part was sitting by the beautiful pools underneath the palm trees, relaxing and forgetting about the world. The land is spacious with plenty of walks to enjoy including a stroll onto the resort’s own beach. It was not overcrowded and most of the time we felt as though there were only a few guests there.
I would definitely recommend Kewarra beach to anyone, especially if they were after a relaxing and romantic getaway.
I’ll be heading straight back there on my next holiday!
